I-Bargains is the leading source for Online Discount Shopping Deals

It's no secret that the Internet is a great place to find deals on all sorts of things, from travel and entertainment to DVDs and collectibles. This web site is dedicated to finding great deals on the web. Here are some of my favorite resources for finding deals on the web:

Search Overstock.com for:

DVDs:   DVDs have really come down in price over the last couple of years. If you know where to look, you can find some excellent deals. My favorite resource for finding DVD deals is DVD Price Search, a search engine which lets you create your own DVD wish list, then shop DVDs individually or as a group. The search returns both the base costs plus tax and shipping, so you can see where the deals really lie. There is also a coupon section on the main page that is worth exploring. Tip: Check the box "Include Best Combination* " on your Comparison Cart in order to see if it's cheaper to order the DVDs individually across multiple sites or all together.

Books & MusicWhen you're on Amazon anyway getting a good deal on books, be sure to check out the Used Books, CDs and DVDs which you will find right alongside their regular, new items.

Online Auctions
The mother of all auction sites, eBay is still a solid place to find deals on electronics, media and collectibles. As long as you don't get caught up in the frenzy of the bidding and end up overpaying for some cherished item, eBay can be an excellent place to find a deal. Tip: when you are interested in bidding on an item, do an Advanced Search first and check "Show Completed Items Only". This will give you a pretty good idea of what similar items have sold for on the web site. [click here for more tips on winning online auctions]

Travel
Airfare, rental cars and hotels are just some of the things you can save on by booking your travel online. You can also get reservations for activities and events, buy discounted luggage and travel supplies, even learn a new language for travel abroad, The bast way to save on travel is to book ahead and be flexible about the dates and times of your flight. Tip: while I often use Travelocity for researching my travel options, Sidestep is a downloadable tool which searches the same flights directly with the airlines, often saving you additional money on the same exact flight.

Computer Parts:  For the computer geek in all of us, Pricewatch (http://www.pricewatch.com/) is a good resource for finding the lowest available pricing on computers, parts and accessories. From memory and hard drives to entire notebook and desktop systems, Pricewatch will tell you not only who is selling what your looking for, but who has the best price.

Froogle:  This is Google's answer to a price search engine, indexing literally millions of products which you can then browse and compare.

Tip of the Day: Check out DealCoupon.com for a searchable database of site/company coupons and on the main page, a listing of the Newest and Most Popular Coupons.
